How's the weather?

What's up with the weather this winter? My girlfriend moved down here from North Carolina this summer and one of the first questions she asked was, "Does it get cold here during the winter?" Of course, I said yes but this winter has made a liar out of me!!! I've heard different things about the extremely warm temperatures in the southern states and cold weather up north. What's the weather like where you are? Warmer or cooler than usual?

It is cold right now. Picture 45 degrees here. And the people here really think it is cold. They do not know what cold is, Today they are all walking aroung shivering.

Well, we live in Jacksonville, FL, and it has been a rather warm winter until just a day or two ago. We were able to sleep at night with our windows open and everything! Thenk it got cold, but still no frost where we are.

I live in Jacksonville also, and it is alot diferent than last winter. I haven't lived here long, but last winter was alot colder and was colder mostly all winter. But this winter it has been switching back and forth, right now it is really cold. But a few days ago it was in the high 70's.
