Were you disappointed with the first episode of the new season of The L Word?

I was kind of disappointed. I guess after waiting so long, I expected more.
Anyone else feel disappointed?
I'm still holding some hope that the rest of the season will be better though.

I had to check my listing to see if I really recorded the first episode of the season. I expected it to be much more than it was.

Hummm...I actually liked the first two episodes. I wasn't sure what the show would be like without Dana, but it's got it's humor back. I thought the humor in the show was great, and they're just getting started.
I like Papi. I don't like Carmen not coming back, but I think Papi can bring a fun edge to the show. I just hope we get to know the character a little better, and she's just not the town Pinto if you know what I mean.

I wish I could have seen the first episode, even if it did disappoint me. Since I'm in Australia we will be lucky to get the season before August! Apparently The L Word doesn't rate well here. They play it after midnight and some weeks they don't even play it at all. I think I'll just buy the dvd's when they come out. I'm still trying to catch all the episodes from the previous 2 seasons.
