India needs a good compitator for internet service provider, preferably a wireless connection. Many are interested to have thier own home connection. But there are no good service providers. Those who are giving the internet service are very expensive.BSNL is very bad. They swindle people with high bill. Thier speed is worst.

Now BSNL broadband speed is between 256 kbps to 2 mbps . I get about 512kbps at Hyderabad . where are you located and what is your average speed ? And WiMax might be available in the near future so that we can have wireless internet anywhere in a Laptop .
