I collect egg-shaped objects...decorated eggs, or anything that is egg-shaped. No Faberge eggs yet...LOL. I started with a lead crystal egg with The Little Mermaid (the one in Copenhagen) etched into it...absolutely beautiful. Now I have over 100 of them. My daughter brought me egg-shaped salt & pepper shakers from Sweden as that was the only thing she could find that was egg-shaped, and I was hoping for some Orefors (sp?) crystal...LOL.
I also collect Ty beanie babies, mostly bears over the past few years. I have over 700 of them after 10 years of collecting. Thanks to many online friends, I was able to collect some very rare exclusives from other countries.

lol thanks for the reply. i can imagine egg shaped things are hard to find. My grandmother used to make these beaded eggs and baskets to match along time ago and the ywere very pretty. and we have crocheted lacy easter eggs and starched them too. and took chicken eggs and blowed out the insides and decorated them with stuff they make great X-mas ornaments. well, I hope you find more eggs for your collection and one day maybe you'll get that Faberge egg.thanks.

thaks for your response. And I wonser why they aren't sold there anymore my little sister collects them to.. she loves horses to so that is why i think she likes them so much to her they are painted horsies. lol well i hope the start selling them again. That would suck to be collecting something and then they quit selling it..I guess that would make what i collect all the more special. again thanks

I would love to have some real Native American stuff the closest I can come to is a few hand crafted dream catchers though the rest is vases and figurines. When we were younger we used to walk and search newly turned fields for arrow heads and and spear heads. We found alot and even broken pottery fragments but we lost alot when we moved.

I collected seagulls for a very long time until I had over 1000 and everyone was giving them to me. then I collected t-shirts with anything on them and I still do collect these. I also collected nice ashtrays from all over the world, these I display and am still a sucker for them. I was collecting eeyore anything but I have too many of those too. So now I am trying to not put anything else in my house that I have find a place to put it somewhere or dust it. LOL

Well what about hobbies this is indeed a pleasant subject for me to talk about. I love my free time. I am loving it because i have enough for everything i want to do. Can't imagine what this world would have done without having it's hobbies. There are a lot of them and the most common one are the one in which you get a lot involved and you like what you are doing. My personal favorite hobbies are the collecting of stamps, collecting old coins, playing football, playing tennis table and a lot of other hobbies more and more interesting. It is good for a person to have a hobby because it can develop certain skills which surely will help in the life. Everyone should have a hobby at least and give it the importance it has. Hobbies are great!! What can i advice you.. if you don't have a hobby make one! I like to collect all those things which are my hobbies

Books, books and more books!!! I don't think anyone would deem that as weird... at least I hope so!
I actually run a online bookstore which was born out of my love of books. The spare room is the 'books for sale' room. And my collection I keep in the lounge room in book cases. I'm a pretty organised person, so my collection of books hasn't got too out of control. It is my only collection vice!

I collect stuff that along the magical/mystical/sun, moon & stars line. That stuff has always interested me. I have a cute frog that is wearing a witch hat, some fairy items and stuff like that. I guess some people would deem it weird if they're not into that stuff but I really like it.

Lol! Cute. Yes, we women get agressive because we get jealous. And it would be expensive to have alot of them especially if you were to take them out on dates. A player must have alot of money indeed to have alot of women. Well, thanks for the response to my discussion I appreciate it. And happy collecting..

My stuffie was a teddy bear that I had had since I was 11 years old. I also had pupet monkey with long arms and legs that could wrap around you I also had one of those big headed Ice Cream dolls gigantic plasti head with a loth body that i had since I was nine. I had only kept a few things that meant something to me and represented a time in my life. I didn't have too many but he thought otherwise and tossed them. I am a pack rat I guess I put a emotional tag on things and just can't toss it out unless it is going to a family member. I didn't use to be that way though till I got married.

Oh My...I don't know what I'd do if my hubby pitched out my stuffies...Some of them I've had since I was a kid. I have a teddy bear my Dad gave me when I was 16 (The last Christmas I spent with him) and some are from our foster kids, hubby, my nephew and my Mom. The really special ones sit on the headboard of the bed and some of the more common ones are in a big rubber tub in my closet.
