I learned from an early age that I have always been interested and attracted to people that are different from me. Anyone else feel that way? Also has anyone else ever been in an interacial relationship? I ask because I wounder if we have encountered that same type of expereinces..as in, being at the grocery store with your mate, holding hands at the checkout counter and having the cashier ask if she should ring up all of the items together.

"having the cashier ask if she should ring up all of the items together. "
that usually makes me burst out laughing actually...it was annoying at first when I moved her to the U.S with my husband because ppl over here arent nearly as accepting of inter-racial relationships (here in WNY) as what I'm used to in Canada...I think what bothers me about it all is ppl (sadly mainly black ppl) tell me I should "stick with my own kind"...well if back in the day someone had introduced me to a nice Polish/West Indian man I would ahve been more than happy to go for coffee and see where it went ya know.....
I am the result of an inter-racial relationship, as are my kids and I say all the power to us! We have it all ya know ;-)
