I am very interested in learning other languages and I already currently speak 4 and working on #5 (almost done) I prefer to be submersed in the language because then your mind has to learn. When I lived in Czech Republic, I didn't speak Czech and hardly anyone around speaks anything other than Czech.... so you have to learn to get around. I learned it also by classes of course where the teacher only spoke Czech and I also used TV to help learn. TV gives you context as well so you can hear the language, see what they are dn, and how and when they say things.
It is always best to use many mediums at once rather than one at a time.

I love to learn new languages and is always fascinated by the new terms. Good to relate the new language with my own native language.

I know this is not possible for everyone but I have found that living in the different countries is the fastest way to learn. I have also heard that listening to a language lesson over and over on tapes, Cd's etc is a very good way even if you are not consciously paying attention to every word it is unconsciously going into your brain. I am not sure how true that is but to me it makes sense.

I think i am not too good to learn a new language. You know it isn't easy to learn new language. I think a want to learn a new language because it is must. If you learn other language others than your own language, so when you meet someone with other language you can communicate with them easily.

Learning new languages is a good thing. It elevates our status in society. We will stand better job opportunities as well. There are quite a number of good methods that combines the new language as well as english in the lessons. I feel this method is practical.
