I respect you subjective view on the book. But it's already been proved that the book desrves the Booker, and not just that, it got the Boober of Booker too, that is, the Best among the first twenty five booker winners. And, the sales, reviews, academic courses, and research work which come out on Midnight's Children shows that it is well-liked and seriously discussed everwhere. Sometimes, one's personal views may not go well with the likeability of a work. And, in my personal view, this was just a great book, and I was able to connect to evrything said in that. But I don't have anything against those who hate it, as works of art are always judged my stronly opinionated people, from all directions.
