Would you give the best food you can cook even if it is bad for the person?

Some foods are good but full of calories and cholesterol. Would you still give that delicious food to your love ones just to let them feel you love them and want the best food for them to eat?

my father has diabetes. sometimes, i control the food he eats because i want him to be healthy. but sometimes, i feel like i want to let him taste the food that he loves, too. so, sometimes, i give him the freedom to eat what he wants to eat atleast twice a month. i don't find that bad. i just don't want my dad to crave and starve for the food he wants to it. and i don't want him to feel deprived just because he has diabetes.

yeah i think so too. but be careful not to overdo it because a single slice of cake may add to his sugar level and thus make his blood sugar rose, i think, because i have a similar experience with my aunt. She just ate a slice of cake and she had nausea and vomits a lot and she said that the surroundings seems like spinning around and around. We take her to the hospital and found out she has diabetes. And the doctor said to be careful next time on eating sweet things and sodas. And she had to buy expensive medicines and undergo check ups.

I think that the key to a good diet is balance. I love to cook those naughty calorifically delicious treats for those I love, but only every now and again. Cutting fatty foods out from your diet completely, is itself an unhealthy thing to do. And indulging once in a while lifts the spirits and makes you feel good, which is also good for you - how you feel is important to your health too! That also means that you don't get too used to having gorgeous food - if you were to eat the best meal in the world every day, it would start to become boring. So a little indulgance every now and again is good for you on many different levels!

Nowadays even sweets can be prepared which the diabetic can have using sugar-free. If our loved ones are so attracted towards d delicious food then we can try with sugar-frees.For those who love to eat chips can be given pop corns. An alternate can be done to it.
