The Star Rating!!!!!!!!!

I'm really not happy about star ratings at all. I have seen some discussions that show some of the people with 9 and 10 ratings look down on those of us with lower ratings and think we are all spammers who need to be 'weeded out'. In turn that makes me resentful of them. So, I think it is leading to elitism and division within the community. I have seem some really stupid topics and replies from people with high ratings so I don't think these rankings have anything to do with quality at all. It is obviously just based on how often you can post. It rewards people who hit lots of topics with short answers and discriminates against those of us who make longer, more considered replies to a smaller number. So, as you can see, I'm not in favour!

7 is ok rating. But I dont really car. Im here for the people and money, and i don;t think that this rating changes anything...

I am quite happy with the rating that i have, i do put in alot of work to make sure that my replys are the highest mark. I think it will work out well and get rid of some of the spammers but i have noticed a few people who are very good with there topics having a lower rating which i dont know why that is. I think it will take time before the new rating systems works right and we have a good idea of how it works, so i think we will just have to grin and bear it until we figure it out.
