Is 64 Bit Really Faster?

I personally use an Intel 32 bit processor and I was wondering if there are people out there who use AMD 64 bit processors and whether in their experience they truly find them to be faster than 32 bit processors. Any feedback is welcome.

i think yes the 64 bit pc's are better than 32 bit ones as they are better equipped to handle extra features such as gpu systems etc....

my laptop with 64 bit turon amd processor - 64 bit amd processor
i am using 64 bit turion double core processor with windows vista, it is lightning fast, if you use 64 bit processor, you must also use the supporting os then only you will get the performance of 64 bir, if you try some 32 bit supporting os then obviously you wont get the real processing power of your system.

a friend of mine have one. and yes it is a little bit faster 64 beside 32. but to have at fully capacity you need to have a compatible motherboard.

I don't think 64 bit faster if its calculating clock per clock .. maybe its take greater bwith so each clock will able to carry more calculating .. but if the data or the calculating is little there should be no different .. like when 486 dx4 400 migrate to pentium 100 ?
