Can earnings from blog writings be a career, or a full time job replacement?

I have started writing at blogs a few weeks ago, and at the same time I realized that it is also a money making opportunity. Although at the start I joined 'writng up', to read some good article, and share with others.
Do you think that slow earnings from blogs can be a good income opportunity?

Well blog writing can certainly fetch you some good money but I dont see it as full time job replacement until and unless you are doing it at a larger scale.

i dont think so first of all can you plz tell us who exactly pays for what sort of blog writtings in detail? and secondly the problem is as you mentioned yourself it doesnt pay that much
