Are you looking to buy or to rent? If you are looking to rent try looking for a home for sale that would be willing to rent with the option to buy. Are you working with a realtor? Have you looked into smaller homes with a good price that you could add on to withing your budget? You may also look into homes that are in forclosure. The best of luck to you. Remember patients is a virtue. We didn't think we would ever be able to buy a home in our area with the high cost of homes. We finally found a home in a subdivision that was at the end of their building and bought one of the model homes at a great price.

i wish i could give you advice, but i am in the same boat. we are trying to find a bigger house, but with our budget and credit history it is so hard. i mean we could have my parents help us with getting the mortage but it's the payments that do not fit into our budget. it just stinks.

I totally agree, My fiance and i .. He has two kids from his past realationship which are a 5yr old boy and a 3 yr old girl we only get them every other weekend but they still have to be in sepreate rooms you know also we have a baby that im being induced with next week. So we had to find atleast a three bedroom and in our budget and it wasnt easy let me tell you! It was rather difficult to be honest! It was crazy! We did it though but it took a while, thought i would give you some Good luck vibes :)

the only advice that i can offer is to try a little further afield just outside your area but still near enough for you or your new husband to get to work, house hunting can be difficult and alot of patience is required it took my wife and i 8 years to find where we are now
