I saw this on GMA this morning. I will go without it, I don't need something like that. My regular phone is just fine with me cause I don't need all the other stuff. I heard on there that it wasn't coming out until this summer though. But I bet when it does come out there will be lots of people buying them.

An Ipod downloads music or something doesn't it?
It's probably a clever idea for commuters but I'm not ready for it yet.
I can just about do a text message and cannot answer a voicemail, I just delete them.
I take me miobile in the car in case it breaks andon the beachwith the dog incase she gets injured or cannot jump back up to the prom, which hasstarted happening recently. Other than that it is usually switched off.

i heard about this on the Today's show this morning. i just can't believe of what they will think of next. i am not an apple user, and remember in grade school apple computers are different than others, i may be wrong. but the ipod phone just sounds like a little much. my son has a motorola cell phone that has all types of gadgets, takes pictures, he can download movies and music, he can also write notes on it. but i think it's ridiculous to spend $150/month for a cell phone, heck that's half a car payment.

both my kids cell phone bills are usually over $100/month. they talk on their cells at home when i constantly tell them to use the landline, and they do alot of texting, (which I don't even know how to do) and download music, all of which i'm sure costs a fortune. i told them i would pay the regular rate, and anything over that is their responsibility. surprisingly enough, they still pay the extra, rather than try to cut back on their habits.

My girlfriend has been so hell bent on one of those Tmobile sidekick, but after she saw the release of the apple iphone on the way I think she has decided to wait for it to come out. Hopefully they will offer it to tmobile, but no we won't be spending the estimated 500-600$ release amount

Yes, I saw the launch of iphone by the Apple chief on television and on podcast. I would love to have my hands on iphone but pity i guess it will be available only with Cingulair in United States. It will take two years for iphone to be available in our country. I would love to buy it at that time.

I dont think iphone is a marvellous thing when compared to the price it will be sold at. I believe the companies already in the phone business are producing much better phones.

I am personally disgusted by the extensive proprietary setup that Apple has for everything they produce. EVERYTHING they make is way to over hyped.
I refuse to use anything made by Apple. Not that I am a fan of Microshaft either.

Well i'm not sure ... it looks great .. .but if you really can't add apps is quite frustrating.
I mean, you have osx on the phone ... and you can use it just to see weather? Come on!
I want to be free to use it as i want ... i think it is resonable .. isn't it?
