i think actors are.because we rarely hear a directors name from people.once the film is hit only the actors get good name than others in the film

I would say the actors are. I can only list a few directors off the top of my head, and don't know what many of them look like. I can list several actors, though. In fact, many of the directors I know of either used to be actors, or are both.
