As speculation about a royal engagement reaches fever pitch, Prince William's girlfriend, Kate Middleton, is being subjected to the same media treatment once inflicted on Diana Spencer. The tabloids constantly bring up the similarities between the two.
Will Kate be as popular as Diana...

She's a cute girl, but she will not be as popular as diana. Diana was unqiue and in a class by herself.

One can hope she would be as popular, and as gracious and giving. I also hope that she doesn't suffer the same fate of misery that Diana did. I can't imagine what the pressure if like to be married to a future king, but I wish them both a lifetime of happiness, and a little privacy too!
