anatomy and physiology of the muscular system

i am a new student at gmi in the medical assisting program. i need to discuss and recieve as much information possible for the muscular system.

There are three types of muscle tissue. Skeleton, Cardiac, and smooth. Skeleton muscle : is so named because most skeletal muscles function to move bones of the skeleton. skeleton muscles are striated and its action is in voluntary manner Cardiac muscles. Forms most of the heart wall . cardiac muscles are striated as well but its action is involuntary. Smooth muscles: is located in the walls of hollow internal structure, such as blood vessels, air ways, and most organs in the abdominopelvic cavity, also found in the skin attached to hair follicle. Smooth muscles are not striated and their action is involuntary
