Do we really need all this hi-tech stuff

As we make more and more advances in technology, we come across a lot of gadgets and gizmos which promise to change our lives in one way or other. Be it telecom, entertainment, medicines, transport or any other field, we are surrounded by these hi-tech tools these days. Although all of these claim to make our lives simpler, I certainly feel that they are somehow making the lives a little complex by creating products which take ages for us to learn how to operate them.
