Can A Country Preserve Its Culture Despite Continual Outside Influences?

Well.. so i know that this is one topic that has been neglected.. and over looked at.. but since this is what is happening nowadays.. is it possible for any country to preserve it's culture, provided it's residents are a mix of patriots and people looking for personal development?

I can feel where you are coming from! It may be different if they were coming in with respect for the original culture but when the outsiders try to tell you that the way you live is barbaric, pagan, devilish, evil etc.. and act like their way of life is "Gods" way of life- then that is cultural desecration. I think the ethnocentricity sould stop as well!!!
