Can anyone else make sense of the end bit?

The bit in the chair really puzzles me at the end of the film, does anyone elso know what is going on?

well,at the end of the movie you find out the meaning of fight club. Which is to destroy the economy of the world(thats why he blows out the banks or whateva). That way everybody will lose their money,and everybody will be equal...or something like that:)

no, at the very end of the movie, When Edward Norton shoots himself in the face, he KILLS Tyler Durden, and though the Narrator's mission to stop all the building from blowin up failed, atleast he isn't two people anymore, and now he can start a life with Marla where they can rot together. He effectively beat his demons and is trying to rebuild from now on. It's very symbolic!

I wonder if you meant the indian movie fight club or the Brad Pitt movie, cos if it is he indian movie that was an absolute disaster and i din bother watchin but if its the Brad's movie i'm sure i can help you i'm noy sure wats puzzling you though
