i am a Ist year student of engineering(electrical&electronics branch),but on starting i want information technology.due to that i cant consuntrate in study.i decided to live this .and give entrance test once again but my parents are not agree,they are saying due to this i will loss my 1year of my life as well as a large amount of my fee. i dont understand how to convence him .............

If you can't concentrate in study then you have two choice First- Say your parents that if you leave this course at this time you will lose 1 year of your life and some amount of money of fees. But if you don't leave this course at this time because you can't concentrate in this subject you will LOSE several years of your life for trying to achieve the GOAL but you can't. Second- Concentrate in Study and work hard this year and get highest percentage in this Course then in next year You have an opportunity to change the Branch of your choice. (This is a Rule of College For more Detail contact to your HOD) Good Luck....

I truly agree. You will have the option of changing your major. Keep in mind that it's very important for you to do an internship in IT if that's the field you plan on going into. I received my BS in IT but due to no experience and no internship offered by my school I was unable to obtain a job. Even for entry level jobs they want some type of experience. I just wanted you to be aware the importance of an internship so you don't fall into the same trap I did. Good Luck...

there is no going back.the course you've taken is a really good course and all you have to do is to develop interest in it.if you're still interested in IT,then aim for your job as a software engineer.all the best.

please dont take wrong decision please all branches are same only few subjects are different. if u r interested then do ur m.tech in information technology . ok. start thinking in right manner..... u dont have negative atitude...........
