I write everything down. Each day my plans. Shopping lists. Do you do these things? I will rate every response. Thank you.

I am definitely one of those people who has to write everything down. I have a number of pieces of paper on the diningroom table. One is for places to go, one is my shopping list, another is for telephone calls and I even have one for household chores. I have another piece of paper on my bedside locker, in case I think of something during the night. And the most important one of all is in my car; it reads 'don't forget the shopping list'.

Its amazing you really seem very organised well I'm a bit lazy on this but every new year i start with a new diary it goes on fine for a while and i pen down everything, from my meetings to shopping list, etc., till Jan ends, thats why all my older diaries have all the rest of month pages blank. Someday, I would surely be able to maintain this habit for the whole year long.

It is so much easier for me to remember things when I write them down, whether it is my grocery list or my household chores that need to be done or plans with friends and family or anything else. I do not remember things as well when I don't write them down. I am always writing things down in my calendar at work so I know what needs to be done and when.

No, I really should. I know I need to, as I have been told that I would forget my butt if it wasn't tacked on! :) But I guess I just forget to.

I used to and you know what it is way more productive, it takes extreme discipline to do this and I wish I could find it in me to get back in the habit. My wife is way more organized than I am I would be lost without her that is for sure, she is my support line, my love and my best friend. We are having a rough go of things right now (my fault naturally, men are stupid creatures) I am hoping we can get things between us back on track and keep building on the great love we have.

I think that if I started doing this my life would become less frazzled. I tend to procrastinate. Making a list and checking off the things that are completed would be helpful.

Yes, I really have to, otherwise it may not get done. And when I am using the computer and I come across sites that I think has awesome info, I bookmark that for later reference. I need a backup source, something I can refer to, for just about everything 'without a doubt'...SS

That is a great idea. I sometimes do this. One thing you might try is to expand your list. Make up a prosperity list of things you would like to have. Not just material things either. List all the things that might be important to you and your family. It can be anything, even if you think you might not be able to have it. That is the idea. Write down everything. Then review your list every day. Add to it and revise it. Now instead of the of stressful thoughts entering your mind, new thoughts will begin to stay in your mind. And you have control over those new thoughts. It is a matter of writing down how you want things to be in your life. Hold those positive thoughts in your mind as often as you can.

I never write lists because I have trouble sticking to them. If I need to go grocery shopping I usually know what I need without making a list.

I am probably the worlds worst planner, therefore I couldn't follow a list if I tried. I can't stick to anyone thing for long. If I write a grocery list I end up leaving it at home, but by some miricle, I manage to get everything that was on it. With other things, I get so many projects going at once, and rarely get them done. No a list wouldn't help me.

I find making lists very theraputic. It allows me to calmly think through something (whether it be a grocery list or my budget for the month) before I do it and it gives me a great sense of security knowing that it's been thought out and processed.
