I consider my husband "Queen of Husbands". While he has his own duties, he takes time to do a little cooking, cleaning and entertaining. He is considerate, kind to others, compassionate, hard-working and dedicated. He is so proud of everything he has accomplished in our 8 years together and never hesitates to share that with other people. What do you think makes a man "Queen of Husbands?"

I also think my husband is "queen" (though he may not appreciate the title.. King i suppose is what he would prefer! LoL). He is kind, considerate, loving and brilliant. He is always bragging about the boys, and changes diapers all of the time (without complaining, usually) He makes dinner, cleans up the house when i need help, He's great.

Ha ha ha! I'm not sure my hubby could actually train yours. I had to begin somewhere and that started with the very basics--the toilet seat. I casually asked him to different chores and accepted the job he did, whether or not it was up to my standard. While he worked on the request I had made, I would clean the entire house. So, it has been a process. I finally got him where he rinses the shower out when he is finished showering (a handheld showerhead helped with this immensley--it's worth the $) and am now working on getting him to wipe the bathroom sink with his dirty towel when he is finished with all his shaving, etc. Honey, just prompt him, reward him and pamper him into helping out.

That is so awesome that you husband is willing to do those extra things. So many guys and ladies are only willing to do what they absolutely have to.

Your husband sounds wonderful. You are a very lucky woman. My husband is great also. I have Lupus and sometimes it is very difficult for me to do housework. He works a fulltime job and helps me all the time. He knows I can't do everything because of my health and he doesn't complain. He is wonderful to me.

You are very lucky..Not all women get husbands like you..But there are many other qualities that make a husband really "Quenn of husbands". They are sincerity, humbleness, politeness, respecting the feelings of his wife, sharing and caring, taking care of famil. He should spend time with his family memebers. He should look after their needs. He is not just a bread winner of the family but also a real home maker.

Congratulations for having such a husband. I just wonder why you termed that as "Queen of Husbands". A husband is a man, a male, masculine in gender. Queen is a woman, a female, feminine in gender. The male for queen is king. I don't think anything could make a man "Queen of Husbands".
Well, that's up to you but I suggest you use a better termininology. Ask your husband what he thinks about it.

I chose the term queen once I viewed the photo that was taken of him wearing his daughter's tiara and washing dishes. I immediately dubbed him "Queen of Husbands" and have referred to it on many occasions since then. He always smiles and seems to understand that it is a very special term of endearment. When I found the topic on mylot I was thrilled to be able to share what a wonderful man he is and I think many women can relate to all that it implies.
