Not being a working woman, is it really necessary to send ones child to a play school at an early age. My child is 2.5 years old and I am not sure if I am really pushing my child. As far as learning is concerned I spend and teach a lot to my child and also take her out in the evenings to play with other kids.

I'm not sure why so many people spend their money on sending their kids to these things. It sounds as if your child will do fine without play school. Most of the time it is more for the parents to get a break then for the benefit of the child. I really don't think they help all that much.

I think it is a good thing to let your child interact with other kids as much as possible, so play school might be a good idea. Your child might still be too young for it though, so maybe you could take your child there once or twice and see how it goes. If your child likes it, then it is a good idea to keep going there.

I totoaly recomend it...I have a son thats 19 months...I have had him in a daycare (playschool) since he was about 4 months old....It has tought him alot. He has learned to play with other kids, and he loves it! He talks so much better than most kids his age, he has really learned alot from it. It would also give you time for yourself (b/c every mother needs it). It would benefit the both of you.So i would definatly recomend it!
