I have a very hard time buying gifts for my husband. It is so difficult to get him things that he would actually use. I am always buying him cologne and aftershave. Since Valentine's Day is approaching us, I want to suprise my husband with something different and something he would actually use. Any gift ideas for men?

i always like the idea of coupons as the person above me suggested but other than that there are many things you can do.
if you have a talent for making something (a poem, taking a photo, anything) then that is always special to receive from the one you love...even a cd or tape of the music that mean something to you both for him.
a nice romantic evening at home with a candle lit dinner with his favourite meal and maybe you could even buy yourself a new little negligee for him to enjoy *wink*
i guess it also depends if you have a bit of money or not much to spend on your hubby and what he likes and doesnt like... a nice ring or bracelet (mens of course) or a watch etc with engraving on it can be nice too
there are also places that do laser art inside glass, i dont know if there would be one over there but im sure there would...like you could get a photo of you both done etc...
even get one of those glamour photos done just for him...
there are heaps of things...but as long as its from the heart then im sure he will love it no matter how much or little it costs..
good luck and enjoy!! :)

How about making up a special coupon book for him. Like coupons he can turn in to you for foot rubs, back rubs, watching a game with no nagging.(not that I'm assuming you nag, just a suggestion).
You could make it really interesting and throw in some x rated coupons!! Things you know he likes.

Our Anniversery is Valentines Day also...so we actually plan and make a decadent dinner together, light some candles, dance to some slow jams..and to heck with the media circus that promotes buy buy buy! We celebrate the olda fashioned way...by going to bed early : ))))) but not falling asleep!!
