I currently have DSL with Bellsouth, but rates are really increasing. I've considered switching and maybe even getting dialup instead. Who is your internet service provider? Is it expensive? how is customer service?

I use my office's facility for most of my internet activities ^^ so i can surf on the net, browsing and chatting for free. even doing mylot posting. but at home i use starone, a cdma provider, i use my cdma phone to use it with my computer. it costs me Rp. 3/Kb. right now the rate is around $1=Rp.9,650. usually i use starone for chatting coz it doesnt consume to much bytes

i am subscribed to Bayantel, so far they give better service than others we have tried, and their response rate is about 95%.

Well after having DSL it will be hard for you to go to Dial up, it would be for me any way. Reckon that is why I haven't gotten DSL yet, LOL. I use Netzero.com and so far I have no problems. I reckon I have had them for close to 3 years now. They start out at 9.95 but for Hispeed I think it's $15.00. The high speed means they reduce your images that come through so the page loads faster. That's the only diffrence. You can select the quality of your graphics to suit your prefferences. Any way hope this helped you some.

I have Time Warner Cable. I hate cable more than anything but they have a monopoly in my area (i.e. no DSL/other and no satelite TV). Cable internet is pretty good but I noticed it cuts off every now and then for a few minutes. That doesn't seem that big of a deal but it happens 2-3 times a day and it gets very irritating.

My internet service provider (ISP) is Digitel. It is assymetric digital subscriber line having a download speed of 128kbps and an upload speed of 64kbps. It is faster than my ISP before but I'm not still satisfied because I'm only getting 12kilobytes instead of 16kilobytes download speed where 1byte=8bits.

My cable company is my internet service provider. They are pretty good. I don't think I will ever go back to dial up service. It is just to slow for me.
