I went to move to Saudi Arabia one day. If you've ever been please share your experience.

No I can't say that I have ever been, nor have I ever had the desire to go. It really does not appeal to me because everytime you turn around the headlines are blaring about shootings, and bombings, and killings. It's too war torn for my tastes. That and the fact that I am a woman and the women there don't seem to have much freedom, they seem to be treated as second class citizens, so I just don't think that I would enjoy living there.

Yeah... I don't always believe everything that I read, however, when ALL that you hear is negative some part has to be true. I just have no desire to go to ANY part of the middle east (even though they look like beautiful places to be).

I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, and I must say it was probably the most remarkable experience of my life. I was exposed to diversity, received great education, and enjoyed every bit of it. The media obviously with its bias obviously tends to focus on the 'hot-bed' areas, but I would still rate it as one of the safest places.

I have been to Saudi Arabia particularly in Jeddah 7 years ago; my parent are working there. I'm actually going there next month Inshaallah and I'm hoping to find a job there. I love jeddah for the simple reason that it is near from 2 Holy mosques that is Masjidul Haram and Masjidun Nabawi.
