i dont think he is suited cos of his bad fielding and slow running and in the world cup we need quick feeted cricketers like kaif, raina and yuvi.

according to me laxman is a batsman of high class. but he is little bit slow on the field and in running between the wickets. but one can never forget that he is one of the best fielders in the slip. the dismal form of kaif and others indebts me to think that laxman deserves a place in the 2007 world cup. as the field regulation rule i mean the powerplays remains levied for almost 40% length of an innings, where a filder in the slips is almost a neccissity for the rest of the innings i guess a better fielder say kaif as a 12th man can come on the field. but having laxman in the team as a batsman definitely enhances and boosts the indian middle order. his flamboyancy in his strokes and look free attitude gears the indian team up and it could be a great help in the 2007 world cup in the carrabians.
