There is a movie made about it called "Heroes" Cobber Cain was played by Jeff Truman.

I consider firstly my Grandfather a hero as he fought in the first World War and never came back, his body was never found and now all there is, is a name on a wall in France, he was just a young man and then my wonderful father who fought in the second world war, who lied about his health to go fight for his country, thankfully he came home and lived til he was 81 and was the most wonderful dad a girl could ask for.

During my research i noticed a lot of young men that lied about their health or age to get into the service... They had hearts of gold True Blue Aussie Men im so proud of them.
