Deliverence

We were channel flipping when we came across the movie Deliverence. I have heard rumors about this being an interesting film, but have never actually watched it. Always wanted to simply to see the part where dualing banjos comes in and something about a canoe. My husband turned when one man told another to squeel like a pig. I'm laughing so hard. Anyone seen this movie? Should I bother renting it and watching when he isn't here?

I have never heard of the movie Deliverance before, searched it in imdb and found it to have a good rating, but it seems to be there is lot of violence in the movie, I will surely try to watch this film ...

I saw that movie 2 years ago because like you I had heard people talk about it quite often. I thought it was a really good movie. Some parts of it, like the part your husband didn't like are shocking but they are intregal to the story. I would recommend you rent the movie and see for your self. Check your tv listings also they show it on TV pretty often.
