Yes, we should all be honest to people, and that is how friendship is built. There must be some sort of reasons to someone being your friends. I think that is exactly what we are talking about, which is honesty. Being good friends is because we talk a lot about ourselves, and we are honest to each other, so we know that there is a person we can count on. So, being honest to others is very important even though others are not, but at least you wont' feel guilty of yourself.

i like to have next to me a honest person because if he / she is really honest and it is your real friend you can count on his / her help everytime when you need him / her. A friend in need is a friend indeed
