Antique is a province in the philippines known to be the place where the first barangay in the country was settled.. it has 18 municipalities, with San jose de Buenavista as the capitaL. every year, the antiqueños celebrate the Binirayan festival which recalls how the ten malay datus came to the pohilippines thru the vessel called "balangay" and form to what is known as the barangay.. how about you, tell us about your place..
