Bush raises Iraq Stakes

i think the additional troops are for expanding the war in Iran too.

I think it's the only way we can hope to "win" the war...Personally, I'd rather see our troops come home, or go to Afghanistan and hunt for Bin Ladin, but if we're going to stay the course in Iraq, we'd better make sure we have the manpower to do it...Unfortunately, I think we're at the point where, if we pull out now, it becomes another Vietnam, or worse. I have family and friends over there fighting, and have lost a couple friends who've been killed over there, and I think we went in under fals pretenses...But at this point, we're too far in to turn back and head home, so the additional troops are unfortunately necessary.
