We all get down from time to time. It's only natural. And all of us are prone to feeling the stress and pressure of day to day living. None of us, not even one of us, are immune. A daily dose of motivation helps us cope with the challenges we face every day, giving us strength and reinforcing our beliefs in our own abilities. A well placed daily infusion of motivation or inspiration can help lift your spirits, restore your confidence and ignite your creative energy just when you need it the most.

I've been living by the rule of "Accept the things you can't change, and change what you can, have the courage to differentiate the two"
I haven't quoted the exact wording so do forgive me!

Psalms in the Bible and Proverbs are helpful. Any scripture is helpful, especially if the first time I read it really made an impact on me. I can go back to it and remember.

My Mum's got a 'little book of calm' and a 'little book of stress', they're both good to read when I'm feeling fed up. I also like to read my sons homework, that cheers me up too, especially when he's made a real effort with it.

I enjoy Inspirational stuff when I am feeling down or stressed. There is nothing better to me that reading something Inspired by a Christian to be a Good lift me up.
Somedays I just pick up the Bible and read some Scriptures for encouragement as well.

I would have to say Maya Angelou's "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" has been the most inspirational book I have read thus far. The things she has been through and raised herself from just made me realize that I can pull myself from rock bottom and make my dreams come true as she did.
