Bronchitis Blues! How do I get rid of it?

AAHH! I have had bronchitis for a week and a half now and nothing is getting rid of it! On top of that I have a sinus infection, so I am completely miserable. I have done everything I can think of, including going to the dumb doctor that took forever and a die to find out what I had. He gave me antibiotics and they are not working! I have tried humidifiors, non-stop medicine, rest, blah blah blah. It is still here! How can I get rid of it before my nine month old gets it too?? Please help! Thanks!

I am so sorry to hear this dear. I had it 3 times, and it is awful. Call the doctor, and see if you need a different antibiotic. You need to drink a lot of liquids. There isn't anything else that you can do, as to what you said you are doing. The cough can linger for a very long time. Make sure to finish all the bottle of the anti biotics though. I do hope that you will be feeling better soon, and that the Lord will keep your child safe from getting it. Blessings.

What kind of meds did the doctor give you? If they aren't working you need to go back. It could turn into walking pnemonia. Sometimes it does take awhile for the meds to kick in but if it doesn't let up soon I would go back, maybe to another doctor.
