My son is 6 months old, and for the past couple of months he has been acting very aggresive, and I dont know how to stop it. I havent really heard of ways to correct that kind of behavior in a baby so young. He gets very aggresive when he wants something, and will grab at me and scratch and pinch and tug at me or my clothes to get what he wants. Other times he will scream until he gets his way. I know he isnt hurting me on purpose, but it cant go on. I know this will only get worse, so I want to stop it now, but Im not sure how to go about doing that. Any suggestions?

I think you may have already stumbled across the answer yourself...."he screams until he gets his way"? I had 5 babies of my own and I think I would have taken my child to the doctor to make sure there is nothing medically wrong. Maybe it is tummy cramps or something very simple. A baby needs to learn how to cope and maybe something is troubling him and its his way of telling you. I'm not really sure what else to say. He seems so young to have the word aggressive pinned to his diaper. You have me kind of stumped on this one. I would try the doctor first and other wise you may have to stop giving in to him. I know screaming and crying are hard on the nerves, but you have to do something for him and for yourself. I don't know if this reply can help or not, hopefully the other moms here will rally to your rescue. Hang in there
