Why my friend was punished??

We were playing with my friend. One of my friend Bhatte just fell from the roof of the school building. He was immediately taken to the hospital but unfortunately he died.
He was very callous, brutal and a cruel person. He loved to torture others. So, god punished him.

yet he was cruel and all that it was not at all a good punishment. it was not a punishment according to me. it was punishment.
