I met some guy who was gonna married but has never meet his wife. He says he trust his parents decision about it. I even see some movie bout it , I guess its entitled Joong or Princess hour, which is a korean movie.Arranged marriages is usually rampant in countries like India, pakistan, China, Korea and muslim countries. Will you allow it if your parents decides for you?

Parents would want the best for their children but I will not allow them to dictate my future. I will respect them but I will tell them that I have my own plans. Good thing arranged marriages are minimal in the Philippines. We have to fight for the love of our life, not just accept anyone who we barely know.

I would never do it, but I am not from an area where it is the culture. They may not know better, or just accept it as it is traditional and accepted.

well this is really not something new for me as it happens in my country all the time ,although things are changing but still i think 40% of the population gets married to spouses of their parents choice and i don't think it is so bad as you have to adjust in life, even though you might have had a love marriage but still after getting married there is nothing but adjustment. so loveor arranged both should be acceptable.marriage s a second name for adjustments.

it depends..why not?..but i would want to see the looks of the guy first...some infos about him..going on the wedding day without knowing anything on your would-be partner would be too crazy! that's nuts!
