Have you ever wondered how your internet postings could ruin your career?

I'm talking political career here. Although I have next to no ambition to ever run for office, almost every time I post something on myLot, Myspace, or one of my blogs, and especially in all the little places I am sure I forget about, I wonder if its ever going to come back to bite me in the butt. Anyone else ever feel the same way? Or am I losing my mind all alone?

Good point. I've heard that there are cases of people suing and counter suing due to something they posted on the Internet. It will be desirable to practice same caution and manner when posting on Internet, but seems like lot of time that is not done.
