at the start of the movie, you'll hate leonardo inspite of his hunkiness.. he seemed like a greedy, good-for-nothing swindler.. he doesnt care where the money came from or who gets hurt in the process as long as it's cold hard cash.. the movie's plot centers on an african who found the biggest and most precious diamond amidst the war... he needs it to redeem his family from captivity so undmindful of the danger he faces, he hid the diamond from hungry thieves... then leo came along.. he promised to help him sell his diamond and free his family what started as a movie focused on greed, deceipt and hunger for power and money soon became a touching tale of friendship, survival and love... at the end, leo showed compassion and self-sacrifice for what he thinks is for the greater good.. at the end, you'll realize that there really is still a diamond amidst the rubbles.. and im not talking about the gem..
