How many of you joined mylot for money?

The idea of getting paid for something I do online for free anyway is definitely what drew me here, but now I find that I'm spending much more time just reading discussions that I find interesting (and at times not responding) because each day I seem to be learning something new :-) Oh and if you find someone deliberately breaking the rules (copy/pasting answers, spamming with one word replies etc - hit the ! button as well as giving them a negative rating, hopefully by reporting them we can all enjoy our time here a lot more)

i think not only me but also every body who is on the mylot community has joinedthe mylot community for money

hi there... i think the purpose of getting something from this site like money is given.. who would waste much of their time and earn nothing... but as you go own and share your interest all at the same time, the focus of getting money just becomes secondary.. what you enjoyed the most is the connections that you have with these people regardless of their race... thanks a bunch^_^

I will be honest too. It would be a downright lie to say that we first came into mylot because we just wanted to be part of a discussion group. Yes, I join mylot initially because there is money to be earned. Along the way, I realised that other more important things about this site. I learned many new knowledge from different quality postings. I have made many global friends. I can express my opinions, feelings and views freely. Isn't this great about mylot?

its fun to do all the discussions but i wouldnt be spending so much time here had it not been for the earnings :)

hii.. ya even i log on to mylot coz i heard it pays.. but now it has been only 4 days n i cant keep myself away from mylot.... i just love reading peoples opinion bout so weird things.. i love knowing different things bout everyone.. mylot not along with earnings is a very informative place to surf upon.. ya but being frank i wanted some earnings on my own coz money is a need anyhow..

i have never tried to join any forum till i joined mylot the amaizing thing of mylot is its simplicty to post or respond to discussions besides it rewards you

Honestly, I joined for the money initially. Though I had no idea how much I'll get paid I somehow liked the look of myLot and jumped in:) Since then it's been great, I enjoy reading and writing and learning stuff here, it keeps me coming back everyday. I spend a good deal of time on myLot. Money is a motivating factor but not the only one!

oh yeah even ill be honest and say that yes i have also joined it for earning money in the begining but as the time is passing im loving the time spent here..

to tell you truth when i first read that u can earn...i joined solely for the money purpose but after 2-3 days it changed to secondary objective.....there are loads of discussion topics,i am improving my writng skills,able to express my opinion n getting to know other's opinion,getting comments giving comments and yeah money also but its no more important to me X

i joined here which was couple of hours ago! yes for the same reason that i want to earn online! i heard someone from my country who got an ipod on his first payout at myLot! i think it is not a big deal for you guys! but for someone coming from a 3rd world country, it means a lot! earning as much as $300 a month can raise a family well here! i have come across a couple of really good articles and will surely spend more time reading them as well.

hi! i'm new here, but what really drove me in joining this site is the fact that we can simply exchange opinion about things and with that, we get to grow as a person by knowing and exploring other people's opinions and fascinations as well as other people's point of view and interest. i love pondering on new things and exchanging thoughts with everyone else that is why i think that mylot is more than just a money making site. it's a site where people like me can get a chance to interact and express myself and feel good about it or if not simply learn with it.

Well, to be honest I came on here because I am a broke student and desperately need extra income. However, I do enjoy discussions and it is a pleasant surprise that this site has so many discussions. Sometimes I'm just bored and want to get into some kind of discussion but no one is around. I have this site now. The fact that i can come on at 2 am and find things to talk about and people to talk to makes it worth it even if i don't get paid. All I need to do now is find the philosophy discussions and I'm set.

Well if you want an honest opinion i would say yes i joined Mylot for money,but yes i do like some of the discussions here and whenever i like to get some opinion i put some discussions but i would still say that the main motive is to earn money. Hope you don't give me a negative rating.

initially i too joined mylot for money but afterwards i came to know there are many things happeneing u can post ur opinions to various topics which i find very much interesting and i like to give advice te quires here as we all know we like "togive advice" so here we are paid for tht!!!!!isnt it gr8?

Im looking for a job in the freindster classified adds I read an invitation to work at home I try to registered and up to now i'm using mylot.com.It brings to me a lot of interesting thing,I dont feel boring here,I have my schedule to write a response,I dont have a boss to busted me,Im happy to be a member/user of mylot,Its develop my writting's,I joined here to have a work at home,and I'm still continue to work for my earning's.

I would be a hypocrite if I'd say I didn't join mylot for money. I learned about mylot because I was looking for ways to earn at home. I used to blog for free but when I learned about mylot I sticked to it now. Why would I blog for free if mylot can pay me? in fairness, mylot is helping me improve my language skill in writing. thanks mylot!

I too have to be honest. Hearing about the fact of being paid for something as simple as posting replies was appealing to me. But same as you I have learned to pass the whole payment issue. It truly is nice to hear others opinions and stories. Replying to their discussions really makes me feel like i am helping them in a way, and I wouldnt change that for all the money in the world.
