In the past i have used mcafee and had a lot of problems wit it..THe detection and cleanin of viruses isn't very effecient. SO tats wen i switched to norton antivirus and i periodically keep updating it online so tat it keeps working well..
The detection of d trojans and viruses and their cleanin are 2 my satisfaction. So i'l go wit norton

I prefer use AVG. Now, I'm using AVG free version. It's great. Easy to install, easy to update, and easy to use. It has friendly user interface. I have tried to use norton. But it made my computer work very slow. So, I change it to AVG.

I have used Mcafee in the past and hated it. I currently have a license for Norton through my university and I really like it. When you set it up it does exactly what it's supposed to do and what you expect it to do. I always had problems with the actual software for Mcafee, whether it was trying to update the definition files or simply performing a scan. And when I pick a virus scan software my first criteria is reliability and whether or not it constantly updates the virus definitions, and I found that in Norton.

I use Norton Internet Security. I have used several anti virus programs but I must say one thing.
None have compared to Norton. There is only one problem that i find with norton. It tends to slow the computer down a bit if you are using an older computer. I upgraded to intel dual-core and I don't even notice that the program has been started.
Honestly, I think that you should try norton. The others are probably cheaper but as a saying in my country goes : "Goed koop is deur koop" which means "Good Things are Expensive things!"
Spend your money wisely and buy yourself a copy of Norton Internet Security 2007, which contains an antivirus, firewall and a range of security features making your computer as safe as a bank safe. No pun intended.

Neither. I've had troubles using those anti-virus softwares before. I am currently using AVG Professional 7.0 and I never had any problems as of yet. =)
