i would rate 10 for sachin and 0 for ponting

7 for sachin n 7.5 for ponting

sachin is world's number one bastss man so i will rate him 9.4 and for ponting 7.4

I will give 8.9 to sachin and 8.7 to pontin.Sachin tendulkar is the best batsmen of India.He had 80 centuries in International cricket.Sachin tendulkar has the correct technique to survive in the crease.He has the highest experience in the international format.Sachin tendulkar played over 400 matches in one day international and over 100 test matches.Sachin tendulkar came to the Indian team at the age of 16.He made his first century in one day international in his 74th match.There was a time in indian cricket where the victory of India was decided on the performance of Sachin tendulkar.He is also a very good parttime bowler.Sachin tendulkar's best two bowling performance was against Australia and Pakisthan at Kochi.Even though Sachin tendulkar had a very good test series in Australia he is not performing well in one day intermational.Sachin tendulkar was the highest run getter in the test series against Australia.He also got two test centuries in Australia in the test series played in 2007-2008 season.Sachin all the best .

if i have to rate them i will give more to sachin. he is the best. but these days he is undergoing some injuries , lack of fitness and poor form. but now sachin came back strongly to score his 41 st oneday international century. ponting ofcourse a worldclass player but he is not as top as sachin. so i will give 9 to sachin and 8.5 to ponting.

As far as rating is concerned, my rating point is 10 out of 10 for sachin because he is most experienced and talented player of the international as well as domestic cricket. At present Riccky pointing is concerened, he has to learn lot although he has made many hits, fifty or century but at present Riccky doest not stand in front of Sachin.

you have to refine your question. Considering BATTING IN THE LAST ONE YEAR, your rating hits bull's eye. But I only wonder how Ponting would have fared if he knows that he's carrying one billion hopes back home who live and die with him, if he is in his 18th year of international cricket and staging a comeback from back problem and shoulder surgery. And how about bowling, on field behaviour, tackling media and criticisms, dressing room camaraderie, politeness, humility?. You think Ponting can come anywhere near our gentleman?

Sachin Today & Ponting Today are two different people all together. Sachin is on the verge of ending his career where as Ponting Probabaly is at the peak of his ( Dont know though when he will start to get down). But if one compares Sachin say during last World cup or before that I would rate Sachin as 8 to 8.5 where as Ponting should get 8.5 surely. Today if one has to rate these two players against each other.....Sachin is probably around 7 & Ponting still be around 8.5.
