How much do you love your dad?

I was on my duty awhile ago as a student nurse. One of the patient is a father of three and the breadwinner of their family. He is on his early 50s. He suffered from a cardiac arrest a month ago and they have been in the hospital since then. I was touched by how her daughter takes care of him. She is so caring and with her actions and words certainly the love to her father was great. I then remembered my father. About 6 months ago, my father too suffered from amild stroke and it paralyzed half of his body. Apparently my actions were not the same as that of the girl i saw today. I was distant. I rarely visited him when he was in the hospital coz i didnt want to see him drooling. Now i felt so ashamed of what i have done, of how i acted. I don't know ho to describe myself as a daughter. I want to make up, i just don't know where to start. How about you? Do you love your dad?
