what you guys think about this. Instead of rating a person response with a plus or minus, you think there should be a rating scale like 0 to four. Each numbers represents like 1 means bad, 2 fair, 3 excellent. something to that nature. sometimes when i rate somebody post it hard sometime. some are not pluses but at the same time they are not negatives. you think this will be a good idea.

the reason it cant be a 0-4 or the like is because what the rating system is for is not really to rate it in the way your thinking.. its basically only to rate

too many people rate negatively if they dont agree with someones response or its a short response.. thats why ratings go down so often for people.. i only use negative once in a great while like if someone writes like "i dont know what you mean" or "i dont know".. everyone else gets a positive no matter what their views, as long as they express them.. exclamation to me is only for people abusing the system (notorious cut n pasters) and people that are offensive or excessively crude..

To me that sounds like a good idea the better quality post the higher the number.. and all those that just pust one or two words..that would get a lower number.. And i agree that not all posts are +'s or -'s there should be an in between.
