Australia is the one who deserves the one. But as West Indians will play on home ground, its plus point for them, now its on them can they catch opportunity. South Africa is one with potential, from their performance aginst Pakistan proves that.Finally..I want India to win.

I think India has a good chance to win the world cup by looking at the current Indian squad.
But there are many teams admiring to win the cup so India will have a good competition from them.

Sorry to say mate, after watching the Ashes and some one-day international test Cricket. Even without Warne, McGrath, Langer, the Aussies will rule the world cup totally. A 5-0 white wash of England in the Ashes... that was classic history for those who watched that, every player performed and outshine what people expected from them.

I think it is almost definately Australia. Even though (possibly MacGrath), Warne and Langer are gone; Australia remains a formidible force. I don't see how any team can beat them. I saw today in Tasmania an ODI where Australia thumped New Zealand. There is a lot of new blood in the first-class team and even though New Zealand had some of their best bowlers out injured; we still smashed them all over the park (have you heard Brett Lee's song? Apparently it is in the Top 10 in India). It is really difficult to beat the Aussies, because of the firepower of Gilchrist and Symmonds in the middle order. There remains only a small gap to fill since the international retirement of Shane Warne. Australia is looking good for another World Cup win.
