Can India become an Economic Super Power in 2020?

of course india can became a super power shortly but... to that all our politicians should do their works correctly. they should not get bribe . they should erase bribe from the politics. our goverments workers should do their works correctly. they should do the processining as per the law. they should not go againt the law by getting bribe and at last not the least we people of india should work with some responsibility . should co-operate with government. should pay our IT's regularly. if all this are done india will became a super power for sure.

I have my doubts on this.. In chennai The Creamy layer of grads passing out move to US and europe. The rest of them get some job and when they are equipped with enough experience,sadly do the same. IMHO we need some cultural and economic changes to change the trend

Ibdia is doing well, but it won't become a superpower by 2020. That's only 13 years time - not really long enough to make sure the entire population becomes literate, has access to education, water and sanitation, and raises the income per capita to western levels. To be honest, I don't think China will manage it by 2020 either, and China is further ahead than India on many fronts. Perhaps by 2050.

i think NRI should bef ocused for this .. mr mittal is not producing 1% of steel in india that is a shame ... most of the potential .. is goin to outside world .. neways .. govt should make it so attractive so that it can attract its own children staying abroad .. that can add a bit of dollars in our currency .. they have money .. even small investment should also be considered ... coz on can make ocean out of droplets ..

Yes, my friend and I think it will. It is because there is a wave of change and inspiration among the citizens, especially the youth of the nation . And slowly but surely, politics is getting cleansed ..

in my opinion, until India stops its surplus population moving to Europe or America she will nevwer fulfill her potential as a world superpower

definetly YES.......India is rapidly booming in all fields leave alone economy....India's development in various fields increase the economy since they r all interconnected to each other....so there a 100% possibility that India will become one of the super power by 2020

India is booming alright but to become an economic superpower India has to improve it's per capita income. That's too less and also lesser then some third world countries. If India can improve it's per capita income then then the over GDP will also be higher. Thus India can become Economic Super Power if India can completely remove or eradicate poverty and increase the income level.

Maybe can... I hope so....
