Favorite Hotels

When traveling to a particular city, do you have a favorite hotel that you have to stay at each time you visit that city? If so, does it have something special that stands out about it from other hotels?

When it Portland, my husband and I always stay at the Econo Lodge right across from the Rose Garden. Since that is where we stayed when we were on our Honeymoon, that Hotel is always special for us. Nice thing is, they always remember us from the last time we were there.

When travelling, I look for most reasonably priced hotels instead of favourite or famous hotel.

during my college days we used to always look for a Motel 6 whenever we traveled...was like $39.99 a night back in the late 90's...now when we travel, we try to find hotels that offer a better overall stay...

I love the Comfort Inn in Canada... though it's just an inn, it is clean and spacious.. affordable too! =)
