Does your number rating change when you post a lot of questions? I dont normally post questions, but I was curious to see the difference in pay from answering to just posting. But now my number went from 9 to 8. WHy?

My star rating hasn't changed at all - I've no idea how it works or whether it affects earnings. I personally think the star system is just MyLot's way of encouraging people to give more thought-ful answers.

From what I understand your number may go down when you post a discussion and then when someone reads it and rates it, it may go back up depending on the rating that you get for the discussion. You can go and read the guidelines on star ratings and see if I am correct or not.

The star number represents your standing in the MyLot Community. One of the things taken into account is the number of '+' or '-' ratings you have. If you post a lot of discussions and responses, your star rating will drop until people award you pluses for those discussions and responses.
