One of the latest crazes in making money online is Travis Sago's "Bum Marketing Method"
The short run down of it is that you study a hungry niche/market that you can get optimal position on google with and then pick some affiliate products you can market. Write key word rich articles that direct people to your affiliate products and wham/bam/thank you ma'am you start earning commissions that way.
While the claim is that anyone can do it there is a flaw in the logic. It's like saying anyone can throw a baseball. Sure they can, but that doesn't mean they can pitch in the big leagues. Picking a good market is TOUGH, writing really good key word dense articles is TOUGH, picking affiliate pages with good sales letters is TOUGH. I believe you have to be good at a lot of internet-marketing aspects in order to succeed with the bum marketing method.
What are your opinions on the method?
If you want to read more about the method or get a link to the actual method you can find all that on my blog here:

Looking foward to your opinions.

I must admit that this is the first time I heard about this thing called "bum marketing". Has it been long in the internet scene?
It does sound interesting but I think it is a little too much for me to digest for the time being. However, I planned to at least read to try to understand more on this subject. There is never a thing like enough in gathering knowledge and knowhow.

It hasn't been on the scene that long, but on lot of online marketing forums it is very widely discussed, and a lot of people are out there trying to make it happen for them. I posted on such experience on my blog and the guy actually made a sale the very first day, but most people won't have that kind of success.
How's youre webpage going man? I wish you all that best with that project.

I don't usually appreciate this way of earning money. I have tried too many times and I succeeded nothing of it.

Seems pretty logical to me. Of course all should try and then the best will tend to succeed. That is the method I teach my children to grow and do since they are entering a changing society. I say to them to find a need and fill it. That way they can earn their way.

I definitely agree with you on your assessment of the method. I think that is what is happening right now is a lot of people are saying "oh that is easy" and giving it a go and they're getting disappointed when they are not getting sales in those first couple of days - which are essentially ridiculously high expectations.
That said if you were to keep trying until you could put your own twist on the process and likely discover things that make the process easier on yourself chances are (if you stick with it) you'll find that you will eventually have some level of excess.
