My friend you have asked something that i was interested in too before doing my MBA. may be these things can help you. See the first thing that one needs to become a medical trascriptionist is to have a good knowledge and understanding of English. because the job is to listen to some person say on phone and then type the things for him. Basically this is the way that most of the hospitals are keeping a database in computers. There are a few institutes who train you to become a trancriptionist and in few cases the company trains you and pays you in the mean time. This is a good field because you can even work from home after working for about 2 years in the office. So you will not miss your child groing up or see your husband depressed.
